We regularly run a very popular first aid training session aimed at parent and child first aid safety.

Training is carried out by experienced trained nurses and first aid instructors, in your own home or venue, to help you feel first aid competent.

Our first aid for parents training is held in small classes so that there’s plenty of hands-on interactive learning plus the theory elements.

Each person takes away a written guide for referral.

I cannot recommend this course enough. I had a group of mummy friends over to my house and Vicky came and gave us a first aid class aimed at our babies who had just started to wean. I have had a few choking episodes and have know instantly what to do and felt confident in doing so due to the training.

It’s essential that adequate provision for first aid cover is made at all times people are at work. Employers need to ensure there is cover for annual leave and other planned absences of first-aiders or appointed persons. They should also consider what cover is needed for unplanned and exceptional absences such as sick leave or special leave due to bereavement.
