First Aid Training Course for Young People

We are pleased to offer a dedicated first aid training course in Basingstoke aimed at Young People.

The training is carried out by our experienced trained nurses and first aid instructors and we hold small classes, so that there’s plenty of hands-on interactive learning plus the theory elements that help you understand more details.

As well as learning some great skills, you get to take away a written guide and a certificate of attendance.

As foster carers, First Aid is a vital skill which we must keep up to date. Vicky came and delivered a course to myself and my husband and our three children this week and it was enjoyable and fun (never thought I would say that about a first aid course)! Vicky in knowledgeable, interactive, kind with the children and a really excellent teacher. It’s essential that adequate provision for first aid cover is made at all times people are at work. Employers need to ensure there is cover for annual leave and other planned absences of first-aiders or appointed persons. They should also consider what cover is needed for unplanned and exceptional absences such as sick leave or special leave due to bereavement.
